This release is about transparency and structure: every record now carries its full change history, and larger organizations can mirror their real department and contractor structures in QuickInspect — with visibility that follows the org chart.
A complete change history on every record
Open the History sheet on any incident, inspection, action, permit, risk assessment, hazardous material, asset or training record and see every change: who made it, when, and the before-and-after values field by field. Changes are captured on the server, so the trail is complete regardless of which device or app version made the edit — a foundation for audits, investigations and ISO 45001 evidence.
Departments and contractors, structured like your organization
Build multi-level department and contractor hierarchies (up to five levels). Users bound to a unit see their own level and everything nested below it — never sibling or parent areas. Records about a contractor stay visible to that contractor's team regardless of who created them, and enterprises can opt into a strict mode that enforces this scoping down to the database layer.
Every module now also carries a "contractor (concerns)" field with searchable, hierarchy-aware selection — so inspections of contractor work, contractor-introduced substances or contractor-owned equipment are attributed cleanly and feed the dashboard filters.
A dashboard you can interrogate
Tap any KPI card to open exactly the records behind the number, and filter the entire dashboard by department or contractor — with cascading subtree logic, so a parent unit includes all of its children. Numbers on cards, lists and graphs now always agree.
