PatchQuickInspectv1.9.4

The latest improvements come to mobile

Everything from recent web updates now reaches iOS and Android, led by a fix for camera and photo selection on iOS 26.

This release brings the improvements we have shipped to the web over recent weeks to your phone for the first time. It is the first iOS and Android build since v1.9.2, so there is a lot here, led by a fix for taking and selecting photos on iOS 26.

Photos work again on iOS 26

On iOS 26.5 and iPhone 16 Pro, the camera and photo picker could hang or fail, especially with iCloud-optimized or limited-access photos. That is now resolved. If a pick does fail, the message shows the real error and whether the camera or the library was used.

Clearer invitations and steadier sessions

When an invitation cannot be sent, you now see the actual reason instead of a generic error: a seat limit (with used and maximum counts), a required subscription, an already-invited or already-a-member contact, or a missing permission. These messages are available in English and German.

The HSE AI chat no longer hangs on a slow connection; it stops after 30 seconds and offers a retry. We also steadied a few sessions: HSE Support now properly releases the microphone and camera when you leave, KPI project filters work beyond ten projects, and offline image sync is more reliable. Subscription and billing access is now limited to designated Key Users.

A branding fix

Alert and risk-assessment-review emails now show the app name correctly, rather than your company name in its place.

More steady improvements, now in your pocket.
