Manage your QuickInspect or YachtInspect account, subscription, and billing information.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
- Download QuickInspect or YachtInspect from App Store or Google Play
- Open the app
- Tap Create Account
- Enter:
- Email address (will be your username)
- Password (minimum 8 characters)
- Name
- Country (for regulatory compliance and data residency)
- Verify email:
- Check your email for verification link
- Tap link to verify account
- Return to app and sign in
- Choose subscription tier:
- Free (view-only access)
- Standard (full features)
- Key User (advanced features, billing access)
Account Verification Issues
Verification email not received?
- Check spam/junk folder
- Verify email address was entered correctly
- Request new verification email: Sign in → Resend verification
- Wait 5-10 minutes (emails can be delayed)
Verification link expired?
- Links expire after 24 hours
- Request new verification email
- Use new link immediately
Can't access verification email?
- Contact support@quickinspect.me with your registered email
- Support can manually verify your account

Standard Tier
What's included:
- ✅ Create unlimited reports
- ✅ Full WYSIWYG report designer
- ✅ Photo documentation and image tables
- ✅ PDF export with customization
- ✅ Cloud sync across devices
- ✅ Personal templates
- ✅ AI features (usage limits configured per company)
- ✅ Email support
Best for: Individual inspectors, freelance surveyors, small-scale users
Cost: €40/month
Key User Tier
What's included:
- ✅ Everything in Standard, plus:
- ✅ Advanced PDF customization
- ✅ Excel export for findings data
- ✅ Access to Subscription & Billing settings

Best for: Professional inspectors, surveyors, team leads
Cost: €50/month
Upgrading Your Plan
From Free to Standard or Key User
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Tap Upgrade
- Select tier (Standard or Key User)
- Enter payment method:
- Credit card
- Direct debit
- Invoice (company plans only)
- Review and confirm
- Upgrade is immediate — features unlock instantly
From Standard to Key User
- Settings → Subscription → Upgrade to Key User
- Confirm upgrade
- Prorated billing applies — remaining time on Standard plan is credited toward Key User
From Individual to Company Plan
- Settings → Company → Create Company
- Enter company details
- Select number of user seats needed
- Your individual subscription converts to company seat
- Invite team members
Downgrading Your Plan
From Key User to Standard
- Settings → Subscription → Change Plan
- Select Standard
- Confirm downgrade
- Takes effect at next billing cycle:
- You keep Key User features until current period ends
- No partial refund for unused time
- At renewal, you're billed for Standard
What happens to your data:
- Reports remain accessible (not deleted)
- AI usage limits may change based on company configuration
From Standard to Free
- Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
- Takes effect at end of billing period:
- Keep Standard features until subscription expires
- Then downgrade to Free tier
What happens to your data:
- Existing reports remain in cloud (read-only)
- Can't create new reports or edit existing ones
- Can view and export reports
- AI features disabled
Canceling Company Plan
Admin only:
- Settings → Company → Billing → Cancel Plan
- Choose what happens to team:
- Convert to individual plans — Each user keeps their subscription (they're billed individually)
- Downgrade all to Free — All users lose paid features
- Confirm cancellation
- Takes effect at end of billing period
What happens to company data:
- Company templates become personal templates for creators
- Shared reports remain accessible to all who had access
- Collaboration features disabled (can't assign or share new reports)
Payment Methods
Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit card
- Direct debit
- Invoice (company plans only)
Updating Payment Method
- Settings → Subscription → Payment Method
- Tap Update or Change Payment Method
- Enter new payment details
- Confirm
- Next billing uses new payment method
Failed Payments
What happens:
- Payment attempt fails on billing date
- Email notification sent
- Retry after 3 days
- Retry after 7 days
- If still failing, subscription paused
When subscription is paused:
- AI features disabled
- Report creation limited
- Cloud sync paused
- Can still view existing reports
To reactivate:
- Update payment method
- Clear outstanding balance
- Features restore immediately
Billing and Invoices
Billing Cycle
- Billed on same date each month
- Example: Subscribe on Jan 15 → Next bill Feb 15
Viewing Invoices
- Settings → Subscription → Billing History
- See all past invoices with:
- Date
- Amount
- Payment method
- Invoice number
- Tap invoice to:
- View details
- Download PDF
- Email to accounting
Updating Billing Information
For invoices and receipts:
- Settings → Subscription → Billing Information
- Update:
- Company name
- VAT/Tax ID
- Billing address
- Additional email for invoices
- Save changes
- Future invoices use updated information
Past invoices cannot be changed. If you need a corrected invoice, contact support@quickinspect.me with:
- Invoice number
- Correct information
- Reason for correction
Tax and VAT
EU customers:
- VAT charged based on your country
- Provide valid VAT ID to apply reverse charge (B2B only)
- Invoices show VAT separately
Managing Team Members (Company Accounts)
Adding Users
Admin only:
- Settings → Company → Team Members
- Tap Invite Member
- Enter email and select role
- Send invitation
- User accepts and joins company
- Billing automatically adjusts for new seat
Removing Users
Admin only:
- Team Members → Select user
- Tap Remove from Company
- Choose:
- Deactivate — User loses access, seat available for reassignment
- Delete — User's data deleted (cannot be undone)
- Confirm removal
Changing User Roles
Admin only:
- Team Members → Select user
- Tap Change Role
- Select new role (Admin, KeyUser, Standard, Free)
- Confirm
Billing:
- Free role users don't count toward seat limit
- Changing Standard to KeyUser or Admin has no billing impact (all count as paid seats)
Account Deletion and Data Retention
Deleting Your Account
- Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Read data retention policy
- Choose data handling:
- Delete all data immediately — Reports, photos, templates permanently deleted within 24 hours
- Retain for 30 days — Data deleted after 30 days (can reactivate account during this time)
- Enter password to confirm
- Tap Delete Account
What happens:
- Subscription canceled immediately (no refund for unused time)
- Access revoked within 1 hour
- Data deleted per your choice
- Email confirmation sent
Reactivating within 30-day window:
- Sign in with same email and password
- Account and data restored
- Must restart subscription to create reports
Data After Cancellation (Without Deletion)
If you cancel subscription but don't delete account:
- Reports: Remain in cloud indefinitely (read-only)
- Photos: Stored in cloud storage allocation
- Templates: Personal templates remain, can be exported
- Account: Can sign in anytime to view data or export
GDPR Data Export
EU users can request full data export:
- Settings → Privacy → Export My Data
- Confirm request
- Receive download link within 48 hours
- Download ZIP file containing:
- All reports (JSON and PDF)
- All photos (original resolution)
- Account information
- Usage logs
- Templates
Billing Support
Common Billing Questions
When am I charged?
- Subscription renews automatically on billing date
- New subscriptions charged immediately
Can I get a refund?
- No refunds are available for subscriptions
- Contact support@quickinspect.me if you have billing questions
Can I pause my subscription?
- No pause option
- Cancel and resubscribe later
- Data remains accessible during gap (Free tier access)
