YachtInspect: First Steps

This guide takes you from installing YachtInspect to finding your way around the app.

Get the App

iOS: App Store
Android: Google Play
Web: yachtinspect.quickinspect.me

Create Your Account

Open the app, choose to create an account, and sign up with your email address and a password (at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number). On Apple devices you can also Continue with Apple.

If your company already uses YachtInspect, ask a KeyUser to invite you so you join the right company and projects.

Navigation

YachtInspect uses a bottom tab bar with five tabs:

Tab	Purpose
Home	Dashboard with your projects and recent reports
Findings	Browse and create findings for the current project
Reports	Your survey reports -- search them and filter by type (Photo Report, Progress, Findings, Final, Damage Report) and status (Published, Draft)
Lists	Checklists and product data
Profile	Your settings and account

Profile

The Profile tab includes Change Project, Edit Profile, Change Password, Notifications, Reset Walkthroughs, dark/light mode, Documentation, Log Out and Delete Account.

Tip

Walkthrough screens guide you through the main features on first use. You can bring them back at any time with Profile › Reset Walkthroughs.

Roles

Standard users create findings and survey reports.
KeyUsers additionally build and manage the company's report templates in the Report Designer and set up the team.

Reports are listed for the vessel you have selected, and a report needs a vessel before it can be saved.
