Additional User Rights (YI only)
YachtInspect has a set of 6 individual permission flags that Key Users can toggle per user. These are primarily used to grant Free-tier users access to features they would not have by role alone.
These rights are managed from the Edit Profile page under the expandable "Additional User Rights" panel. They can also be pre-configured when inviting new users.

ℹ️Note
These flags work as additive overrides -- they grant access on top of the user's role permissions, never restrict. They are most useful for Free users who need specific capabilities without upgrading to a Standard subscription.
How It Works
- Key Users can toggle these rights for any user in their company via the Edit Profile page.
- When inviting a new user, defaults can be set in the invitation form. By default, new invitees get "Allow Creation of Findings", "Allow Corrective Measure", and "Allow Create Comments" enabled.
- The flags are stored on the user's profile and take effect immediately.

💡Tip
Permissions are enforced both in the app UI and in backend security rules. Even if a UI element is hidden, backend rules prevent unauthorized access.
